The "Academy of Graphics Art" is an association that has the objective, cultural recognition, social, promotion and communication disclosure of visual graphics.

The iconography, the symbolism, the illustration, the, comics and many other disciplines in continuous change, have, with their natural condensation, become a universal language, and condition of support for learning creative work. The graphic images and work, have always been considered "minor" but ultimately has no reason to envy other art forms, has been for over a century a real component of communication artefacts, for concepts but above for all style.

The right information today to play a role in today's society, should be together or supported by a simbolic and incisive condensed image. The image concept is communication and this does not only supply support services or produce benefits, but it is a real cultural chain, a defined genre and collective heritage.

The "Academy of Graphics Art" has been created to see these values recognized, and promote a "new social conscience for graphic art" identifying this discipline as neccessary and adult, placed in an institutional context to produce: training, content and event.
